Blink Science launches blinkHEALTHPASS™ to help return to work

Technology that supports COVID-19 reopening strategies, enabling businesses and schools to return to work while protecting the health and privacy of their employees, students and guests.

ATLANTA (June 29, 2021) –  Blink Science, Inc., a medical diagnostics and health information technology startup dedicated to maximizing global health, has released its new technology suite. blinkHEALTHPASS™ is  a mobile app and private, HIPAA-compliant cloud that allows organizations to aggregate and standardize 3rd-party COVID test and vaccination data for employees, students, or guests, ensuring a safe operating environment while maintaining privacy.

“With half of the total US population still not fully vaccinated and the Delta variant spreading rapidly, it’s imperative that organizations continue to maintain COVID-19 testing programs, encourage vaccinations, and verify individuals’ health status when reopening their facilities,” said Eric Doherty, President of Blink Science.

For large organizations with hundreds of thousands of records, the management of test and vaccination data is unwieldy at best and difficult to operationalize. Until now, there has been no easy way to verify that those who enter their facilities meet the health and safety standards defined by the organization.

blinkHEALTHPASS™ aggregates and standardizes data from multiple sources via integration with interoperable, verified credential providers, and connects that data to HR and access control systems. Use of QR codes can deidentify patients and their data, protecting privacy while permitting access. Employees do not need to share health details with security or front desk personnel.

Part of a global COVID-19 reopening strategy

Blink Science is part of a global effort to create a blueprint for interoperable digital health pass systems as a member of the open, inclusive, cross-sector Good Health Pass Collaborative.
